Freya Aswynn is one of the leading teachers on Runes, Rune Magic and the author of Principles of the Runes, Northern Mysteries & Magick: Runes, Gods & Feminine Powers, and an audio CD, Songs of Yggdrasil: Shamanic Chants from the Northern Mysteries Furthermore she is one of the founders of the Troth in the UK and usually gives lectures and seminars in the UK and USA.

This seminar will be given in the English language.

PROGRAM

FRIDAY
evening
Informal introductions and explorations what we expect from our work together.
Small musical meditation in which everyone chooses a rune unseen. This is the Key rune for each individual to work with.
Odin willing I channel something useful to whomever gets what Rune. Obviously I can't guarantee this.
End with a blєt. For those who attend for cultural reasons rather than religious, ancestors and heroes can be substituted for deities.

SATURDAY
Morning
The Runes, a brief exploration of the various theories relating to the origins and uses of Runes.
Discussion of rune meanings on various levels.

Afternoon
Various spiritual/ psychological meanings of runes, divination and development of psychic affinity with the runes.
Ethics, healing, cursing.

Evening
a sumbel (formal drinking ritual composed of toasting, hails, oath-taking etc)

SUNDAY
Morning
Rune Magick. Rune codes, Rune poems, Runatal from Havamal .
Runes and Myths, spells, scipts , galdr.
Yggdrasil.

Afternoon
introduction to Seith / Seidhr.

How to get to Archeon.

Archeon is a Themepark where buildings from the stone age until the Middle Ages have been rebuild. This gives us a nice historical setting to this seminar and the opportunity to get in the right atmosphere from the moment you arrive till the moment you Сhave toТ leave.

Friday evening: Soup and bread rolls
Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Sunday: Breakfast and Lunch.

Accommodation
Sleeping on Friday and Saturday night at the Roman House СVoorburgТ; here you will
find bunk beds with mattresses and pillows, you only have to bring your sleeping bag.
